I am very sorry to see that Skip is gone. In my early to mid teens I did some gaming and a lot of hanging about at Competitor’s Castle, along with participating in the occasional Sunday afternoon softball game after he would close the shop. Skip has provided me many fond memories and I regret that I had not done a better job of supporting him and the shop back then.
Yes Skip was a great guy and never mad about anything that I remember. He loved ancients and had a ton of them! I gave him a lifetime Achievement award at one of the HMGS/PSW conventions when I was president. Keith are you in Los Angeles?
He was interesting. I worked and played there for Skip. First I heard he was gone.

Played several games at Skip’s shop. As was said before, he never got angry. Calm fellow and his shop was one of the view mid-valley locations where we could buy gaming items. Cool fellow and definitely missed.
