This Drakken (ballon) and another just like it sold for $120 to a good friend. They now reside in Washington state.

I recently decided to drop a bunch of periods and scales I had gamed in and had setups for so I could concentrate on doing fewer periods better so many great miniatures and terrain were sold off. It was very hard to let some of these items go since the work and love put into them was great, but letting others enjoy them and getting cash to fund new projects has made up for this in part. I once heard a line in a Sherlock Holmes movie where a character said “ahhh Mr Holmes a true collector, collects but never sells…” I used to live by that and never sold a thing….I now think I am more an artist that likes to see his pieces not sit in the closet , but be seen and enjoyed by others .

I’m not in the business of painting, building, or doing anything for profit with miniatures, I have a better paying job making TV shows and Movies in Hollywood, BUT I do do things, build things, and sometimes sell off bits of my collection to fund special projects that;

A. We just cant justify spending our “normal” hard earned money.

B. It’s a bit on the extravagant side……

C. Are personal gifts for Friends…

D. We don’t want the lovely wife to know….
