I first got interested in miniatures (well not counting my boyhood fondness for “Arifix” 1/72 scale WWII battles) in the 80’s by the new craze “Dungeons and Dragons” Like many of us I bought and painted many a mini and it’s where I started to learn the craft of miniature painting. I played at most a dozen games of D&D before becoming bored with the role playing aspect and turned off by many of the players failure to bathe! I liked the combat portions but it was not enough. I also started seeing “Historical’s” and got hooked on GHQ “Micro Armor”
So here are some pictures of the early stuff, sadly most sold or traded to keep the kids from have to sell off more than 10,000 mini’s when I go to that “Great Gaming Table in the Sky”
